Although I was born in Austin, TX, I was raised in Minnesota since I was about a year old and consider myself a Minnesotan without a doubt. I love giving my mom grief about moving up where summer seems to last all of 3 months while the other 8 are spent scraping ice off your car’s windshield while it is warming up. I grew up in Eagan, MN and graduated high school in 2012 from Eastview High School in Apple Valley, MN where I initially discovered my passion for creating digital content in the forms of still and moving images.
I come from a family of artists and creators and decided to pursue a profession that I loved regardless of the financial aspect. If you love your job you’ll never work a day of your life right? My experience in film and TV is heavier on the post production side, that is the part where you sit in front of a computer screen and take the raw footage/content and put them together so it makes sense, sometimes several hours at a time. As strange as it sounds this is what I love. I work in the basement of the University’s library in a digital media studio equipped with a green screen, 6 LED lights, a Panasonic GH4, and a Mac powerful enough to run the large and complicated programs needed for video, photo, and audio editing.
I hope to get a job where I can continue this passion of creating and producing digital content whether that be moving images, still images, or a combination of the two. I do have a lot of my work on a YouTube channel (some i’m not so proud of, others I am) and also a Vimeo account. Thanks for visiting my blog and hopefully you enjoy my thoughts and creations from here on out.
Oh yeah… Go Vikings.

Photo JournalismPhotojournalism is different than other types photography because it is more a spur of the moment type of job. It was a lot of fun though too. Here is a picture of Sammich, a KVSC DJ.

Studio PhotographyI got to try my hand at photography in a controlled environment. It was a lot of fun. This assignment we had to take something from out bathroom and find a creative way to incorporate in an image.

Green ScreenWith a green screen I can take a video of you and put you anywhere you want to go. Florida? China? Middle of the ocean? Space? You name it.
